1990 · The Beginning
Four friends from Tübingen founded Jewelled Moon in 1990. Inspired by psychedelic rock, progressive music and the emerging alternative scene, they set out to explore their own musical path.
Finding Our Sound
Throughout the first half of the 1990s, Jewelled Moon found their distinctive voice. Vintage organ and Rhodes textures, expressive guitars, dynamic rhythms and countless hours of writing and rehearsing became defining elements of the band’s music.
In the Studio
By the mid-1990s, the band had recorded more than thirty original songs. Although never officially released, these recordings captured the musical roots that still define Jewelled Moon today.
A Long Pause
In 1996, the band went separate ways. The music, however, never disappeared. Over the following years, the members continued making music in different projects while staying connected as friends and musicians.
Reunion · 2020
In 2020, the original line-up reunited with the idea of playing one more Jewelled Moon concert. What followed was something unexpected: a renewed creative process that marked the beginning of a new chapter for the band.
New Music
Since then, Jewelled Moon have continued writing, recording and releasing new music. Following several independent releases, the band began working with Clostridium Records. What started as a collaboration has grown into a trusted partnership, built on mutual respect, friendship and a shared vision for the band’s future.
On Stage
Alongside recording, Jewelled Moon continue to perform selected live shows, bringing both new songs and timeless compositions to the stage.
